What Results Can I Expect?
Soft and pastel shades need a very pale, clean base to show true to tone. Any yellow left in the hair will change the final colour, so tone out brassiness before applying.
Results always depend on your starting colour, hair condition and porosity, so a strand test is the best way to preview the finish.
How Much Will I Need?
As a rough guide for full-head coverage with a 118ml tube:
- Short hair (pixie or bob): 1 tube
- Shoulder length: 1 to 2 tubes
- Mid-back length: 2 to 3 tubes
- Long or very thick hair: 3 tubes or more
Semi-permanent colour works best when every strand is fully saturated, so it is always better to have a little extra.
How to Use
- Wear gloves and protect skin around the hairline with a barrier cream.
- Apply to clean, dry hair. Shampoo beforehand without conditioner so the colour can absorb evenly.
- Saturate the hair thoroughly with a tint brush, working in small sections from roots to ends.
- Leave to process for 25 to 40 minutes.
- Rinse in a non-porous sink or basin until the water runs clear.
Aftercare: Make Your Colour Last
- Wait at least 48 hours before your first wash.
- Rinse and wash with cool water; hot water opens the cuticle and lets colour escape.
- Use a sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo and wash as little as possible.
- Refresh between colour sessions by mixing a little colour into your conditioner.
- Protect hair from strong sun and chlorine, which both speed up fading.
Patch Test and Safety
- Professional use only.
- Always carry out a skin allergy test 48 hours before every use, even if you have used the product before. Hair colour can cause severe allergic reactions.
- Carry out a strand test to check the final result.
- Not suitable for use on eyebrows or eyelashes. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.
- Wear suitable gloves. Keep out of reach of children.
- May stain skin, clothing, fabrics and surfaces.
