With Spring on the horizon there’s one look that’s hot on the catwalk and dominating trends throughout high-street fashion. Pastel hair of course!
Time to dull down your vibrant reds and your deep blue’s and lighten it up for Spring. With models such as Chloe Norgaard featuring in London Fashion Week sporting pale green locks it looks as though it’s finally time for pastel hair to have it’s day. It is also no coincidence that GHD have just released a brand new colourway of stylers inspired by the Spring/Summer 2014 catwalks that were awash with pretty pastels.
One of the most popular range of hair colourants at the minute for pastel hair is Crazy Color’s – ‘Bubblegum’, ‘Marshmallow’ and ‘Candy Floss’. Each will give you a soft hue of colour which give optimum results on ready-bleached hair. For the rest of you who want a more specific shade, Manic Panic have a fantastic product now available called Pastel-izer; a revolutionary colour-less cream designed to ‘pastel-ize’ any shade of Manic Panic hair dye. Pastel hair is also very easy to maintain, when your colour starts to fade add a little hair colourant to your conditioner and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing.
